On Sunday 24th November 2024, Tolethorpe Hall will host its third preloved clothing sale. Everyone is welcome, and if you REALLY love fashion, it’s a don’t miss!

I’ll be there with vintage silver and costume jewellery from Victoriana, Modernist to 70’s and 80’s stunners.

Featuring local people and traders selling preloved, vintage and nearly new clothing and accessories, it’s becoming a much anticipated annual fixture. The event stands out not just for the buying and selling that takes place, but for the friendly and fun atmosphere that everyone contributes to.

The sale’s popularity reflects changing appetites for buying preloved and giving second hand pieces a new lease of life. Get involved in that thrill of the hunt and finding new/old pieces that spark joy, with the added bonus of delighting sellers who see their stock getting a new lease of life. It’s sustainable circularity at its best, on many levels. Preloved is the future!

Doors open to the public from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm and £2 entry invites everyone into the magic of Tolethorpe Hall (under 16’s are free), all proceeds will go to the Stamford Shakespeare Company Charity. With stalls across four rooms, free car parking, wheelchair access, changing rooms and refreshments, all in the historic Tolethorpe Hall, it’s well worth planning your time to make the most of this once a year preloved clothing sale.

A collaborative event developed by and for the community, Tolethorpe Clothing Sale features mainly womenswear with some childrens and menswear. Shoppers can expect a wide variety of preloved clothing, shoes, hats, jewellery and accessories, from high end to high street. From bygone eras up to more recent times – think 1960’s to Y2K – there really is somehting for everyone.

Shoppers are advised that cash payment is preferred but some sellers take card payment and Tolethorpe also provides a card payment station.
